I was very excited about eating at this Mario Batalli restaurant. However none of the pasta was home made. My fussili, sausage and kale was adequate could have used more garlic. The girls had the capresse salad made with roasted tomatoes. It was tasty. One of the ladies had the rigatoni. It was too al denti. Another dinner had the... More

The food is all very reasonably priced and the menu as a variety of options. There are sides of veggies, seafood, pizzas, pastas and entrees. The table service was quite inattentive. When we were done eating it took about 15minutes before our waiter came by to check on us and it really wasn't very busy. I really enjoyed the octopus.... More

We had just come from Italy and stopped in New York to visit our daughter. She took us to Otto for dinner, and I must say it was wonderful! We had a couple of appetizers, and three different pasta dishes so we could share and taste different types. They were all fabulous, well portioned and reasonably priced. My favorite appetizer... I really enjoyed all about this place... service, food, and ambiance. The restaurant is spacious and well decorated. The food was really good and the service likewise.

Insanely good, thin pizza with super-fresh ingredients cooked with blinding speed in an oven that must cook with the intensity of 10,000 suns. I chose their Aglio, Olio & Pepperoncini pizza, which was oh so delicious, and perfectly crispy and hot in under 3 minutes. So good. In a city filled with pizza joints, this one stands out.

We visited Otto with high expectations. We have visited the sister-restaurant at The Venetian in Las Vegas. The Pizza was as expected. Simply delicious. Unfortunately the size of the pasta is rather small. Rather adequate as a first course. However, service is competent and friendly!

Fabulous Italian food and very attentive staff. Pizza was delicious and fresh pasta dish was perfect. The wine a little expensive but was good. Excellent coffee. Great atmosphere, lively and plenty of atmosphere.

I'd read good things about this place but right from the start there were problems. Reviews have said the front room is noisy so I asked for a table in the back but was told, very curtly, that it was full. When we were seated in the front room I could see that half of the tables in the back... More

The service was great as was the food but the noise level in the place made it almost impossible to have a conversation. Prices reasonable, an extensive wine, fast and friendly service. Just bring your ear plugs.

A local booked this place for us to meet. While the food was good, the conversation was difficult due to the noise level. All the food was good, especially the fresh pasta. Prices were reasonably for NYC. Wine list was extensive. But, the loudness makes this place no higher than average.
