Another great afternoon of tapas and drinks. Great small dishes and homemade sangria. Happy hour starts at 3. We spent about 4 hours here beginning at 12. Leonora, the waitress, who we've been lucky enough to have both times is so sweet and attentive. Bar got busy by the time we left around 4-5pm. Tiny place with fabulous food. You... More

Nice food ( particularly Serrano ham with artichoke and mancheco cheese) We had 2 choices each and also some good traditional bread that I think had some raisen included, this was good to sop up juices . We shared and liked all. We had a really good medium bodied red wine by the glass and it was so good we... More

Tia pol is one of my go to spots in West Chelsea. Solid Spanish tapas. There squid ink rice is good though a bit salty. I like the shishito peppers. They have a nice wine selection too. It's a bit cosy and I suggest reservations. But a nice date spot.

Dinner with our kids in their 20s and mother in her seventies. Sangria was too sweet--more like juice. Only fruit in it was (mealy) apples. Tapas were mostly good. Liked the mussel special, but could not take advantage of the yummy sauce. Asked for bread, but it was stale-ish. Overall, not good enough to return.

I've eaten here twice in the past year - it's a true find in Manhattan. First, it's very high quality food with value...not overpriced...if you choose their excellent sangria as the drink of choice for the table, you will truly have a rarity in NYC - a high-calibre reasonably priced meal. In addition, a big plus for me...it doesn't get... More

Love the tapas at this local favorite. While the wine is is lovely, I prefer to sit by the window and sip sangria when the weather is nice. I always get the charred shisito peppers and a plate of ham.

Best sangria! Excellent service! All food perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, particularly loved the artichoke salad, shrimp tapas, trout tapas and outstanding flan. Cool little spot, really enjoyed our visit, will definitely go back!

While visiting New York our friends took us to Tia Pol. It is a cozy place to have a nice Spanish Tapas meal and visit with friends. The food was authentic and delicious plus they allowed us to stay at our table and visit without feeling rushed.

About a block from the Highline at 18th Street, found this small bar, open to the street weather permitting. True to its Spanish Heritage, Tapas, Wines, & Beers from Spain. We did not eat here but the items being brought out of the kitchen looked excellent.

This place has limited seating and a nice, casual atmosphere. Bar area as well. Our waiter, Keith, was great. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. (i.e. He suggested a nice wine.) My husband and I split 4 tapas and two desserts. The roasted fig toast with ham and goat cheese was amazing. (This was a special.) After that, our favorite was the... More
