This place takes you right back to the 1950s - in a good way. They even sell lime rickeys! The food is great, the atmosphere charming, and a great place to call in after a morning's culture at The Met.

The Lexington Candy Shop Luncheonette at 83rd and Lex was established in 1925 and is a neighborhood fixture. As a “step back in time,” it brings back many childhood memories of the soda fountain I recall as a child. I was told it has appeared...More

Interior is old. One can say outdated, other mar say retro and nice atmosphere. In any case, the atmosphere is nice and waitress is very friendly. Food is good and decent. Nothing special and for a good price
