Walked past on first night in NYC and popped in for a quick drink. Found the bar to be buzzing with locals and tourists. We instantly felt welcome and like a local extremely friendly bar staff especially Connor. Always polite friendly and never left you with an empty glass. We tried plenty of other bars during our stay but returned... More

Years going to this pub with good Irish food and a convivial atmosphere. The menu has changed a bit over the years, and it is ordinary food, but tasty. The London broil is good. Salads are large, as well.

My family and I happened onto Mulligans simply by walking by it during a recent trip. We needed food and we needed it fairly quickly. I was surprised to not find a wait, as seems to be the norm in NYC. We were seated quickly and greeted by a very nice lady. I was quickly served a Black & Blue,... More

Only found this place the day before we came home. A pity the best Guiness i tasted in NYC. A proper pub wouldnt be out of place in any town in Ireland.

On the day of our arrival, Nov 15, my wife and I had tickets for a 7:00 School of Rock play (so much fun) and didn't have much time to eat. Mulligan's was on the way, so we stopped and told the waiter we were in a bit of a hurry. He was most accommodating and our meals came speedy... More

Great find in the centre of NY. Piping hot meal and really tasty. Staff were helpful and polite [ especially the girl from ROI who had only started working there, a real asset ] Spotless lively pub, with good food and staff. Highly Recommended.

We ate at Mulligans during our recent visit to New York. The food was average, the beer good, the service average but the overwhelming thing is the noise. If you want to talk to your wife/husband, friend or even order a meal of drink, forget it. You have to shout to be heard which spoilt our evening. OK, I accept... More

We stayed about 5 minutes walk from here and it was a very handy place to chill out after heavy duty queuing and sightseeing. They have a Happy Hour early evening, which is also worth knowing with a draft beer being $4, wine $6 which was a lot cheaper than other places. Ate in here twice as well. Nothing remarkable,... Very popular, extremely loud, good beer, blend food. They love to mix drinks very hot even if not appropriate. Can't hear your neighbor unless you shout very loud.

Had been wanting to try this pub during a work visit to the city. Came in late for a beer and dinner. The beer was cold...however, I was served and charged for a second without asking. The fish and chis were very average. If I stop in again I will try a burger.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
