Try to make a reservation. Locals know this place is good so it can get busy. Foos is wonderful and service is very fast. Portions are adequate but not oversize.

Ok - not much more than that. Chicken tikka masala more like chicken in tomato sauce! Mixed starter nice as was naan. Nothing special.

This tiny little restaurant warrants the wait. Reservations are recommended but they will accommodate with a little wait if you just pop by. The food, the service, even the beautiful bowls make this a wonderful place to eat.

Delightful change from the monotonous procession of the same small selection of Indian dishes (adulterated to American taste) served in almost all 'Indian' restaurants in NYC. The menu here is much more varied and interesting; the preparation (inc the spices used) is far more authentic; and the variety of tastes offered is far greater and a much more representative cross... We ended up in this little cozy indian restaurant for dinner when the kitchen of almost every place was closed, but we couldn't find a better place to eat!!! Delicious indian kitchen, quick and kind service.

I had the Chana Malasa. It was wonderful. Great service. Reasonably priced for NYC. Will definitely return as we have family that lives in the neighborhood.

Had the lunch specials and some samosas. It was good for ala carte, but we are used to the variety of buffets.

This place is one of those secrets that you're tempted to keep to yourself lest an overflow of visitors ruin it. The service is nearly always first-rate -- unobtrusive, welcoming, and expert. The food is remarkable in every way. I have brought many friends here, and none has been disappointed -- ever.

I would say that this is a very Americanized version of indian cuisine. The food was good, but a bit bland in my opinion, and rather pricey. The masala chai had nothing in common with what you find in India, but the restaurant staff did not charge for it once I noted that fact. Service was excellent
