Chicken parm, meatballs, mushrooms, all were excellent. Great to come with a group of 6 or more... large family style plates. The food was authentic and well prepared and seasoned. Great service. Tiramisu was very good. My New York style cheesecake could have been better.

Enjoyed a dinner with business partners. Large group but service was excellent. Food was good and plentiful but not to die for. Small draft beer selection. Sat in the basement with other groups. Overall would go back.

Tony's has been around since 1959 and it's not hard to see why. The restaurant is big, noisy, always packed, with waiting staff rushing around with trays full of platters seemingly precariously supported by one hand over their heads. But don't, for one minute, let that put you off. Tony's is an iconic NYC Italian restaurant. The excellent and very... More

We returned with our adult children. Both loved the place and said the chicken parm was better than that one had at a very pricey place a few nights before. The wait staff is very accommodating and it couldn't be more convenient before theater. Portions are huge!

My family and I choose this little gem for our dinner after seeing a show. Upon arriving even with a reservation it was a little wait, a good 10 mins but eh no big deal I overheard without a reservation it was like an hour. . We sat at our table - the warm fresh bread was great. We ordered... More

My husband and I ate here whist staying at the Casablanca on our first evening in NYC. We chose this for convenience. We had to wait approx 1 hour for a table as it was extremely busy early evening on a Tuesday night which we thought was a good sign...clearly popular. The restaurant was extremely noisy and when we sat... More

Read the reviews and thought it would be good to visit. Cocktails were amazing and other customers were very chatty. The waiter seemed to begrudge taking out order (not sure why, we had booked) we heard him explaining to other tables about specials and about ordering. With our table it was just don't order 2 mains as it's big portions... More

I'm amazed at how good the food is, given the mass of people that pass through these doors on a daily basis. Fast, friendly service, large tasty portions and excellent pricing. Great NYC value! Four of us ordered 1 salad, 1 pasta and one chicken dish and we were full!

Tony's has served up some of the best old NY Italian favorites. Our cooking comes from Southern Neapolitan traditions and served up in huge family style platters that serve 2 to 3 people.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
