Once we arrived we were greeted and shown our table without delay. The staff attends to your ever need with a seamless precision but you do not notice them. Our amuse was simple and flavorful. Appetizers were soon thereafter my tuna tartare was excellent but on another visit I would get the smoked duck (which is reminds me of Duck... More

A dozen diners can't be easy to satisfy but this establishment managed it quite well. The menu ranged from pizza to salmon to lamb...all delicately flavored and done well. Service was attentive. Prices are typical New York but little else is typical. Expect to be spoiled and well fed and definitely satisfied by the end of dinner.

We live out of state and visit the city a few times a year. Through the years we always made a point of going to Le Cirque. We have been to both former locations often and also loved the newest location on E 58th Street. The last time we visited, I believe was two years ago. We were disappointed at... More

We celebrated a 60th birthday at Le Cirque with close family. The "Restaurant Week" menu was a plus. Three courses for an affordable price. Each course had multiple options. The steak and salmon seemed to be the choices enjoyed the most at our table.

Came with friends and was seated in the bar area since one guy wasn't wearing a jacket. No problem. If only their wine room wasn't freezing and each time the door was opened I was so cold. Had to move tables. Service is erratic and disorganized. Salmon tartar made of smoked salmon is ok But very tiny. My shrimp fish... More

Le Cirque is truly "manifique". Delicious food, attentively served in a beautiful environment. One of the 10 original restaurants to offers price fixed menus during Restaurant Week, my wife and I enjoyed Restaurant Week lunch there last week. When you wish to treat yourself to a truly fine dinning experience, Le Cirque is the place to enjoy.

Although the menu was somewhat limited there were enough choices to suit 4 of us. Price fixed dinner was $42.00 each. The pate appetizer was excellent. The main courses we had were salmon and steak. All tasty and prepared as requested. If you want wine, tell the sommelier your preference (red or white) and give him a price range. He... More

We were looking so forward to a wonderful dining experience. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't meet our expectations. We had previously eaten at the restaurant 5 years ago and our experience and food was awesome! The service and the food we experienced tonight was not what it used to be. I had the Lobster Tagliatello Pasta and my husband had the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
