We had a good recommendation, so we had very high expectative. There were 2 great plates, but the rest was nothing to remember. The service was very good and the place is very nice.

The most unique, and delicious, food I tasted all year. Really unique fusion of Korean and American Southern comfort food.

Go the pork. All of the pork. The buns, the steak...and the fish tartare was freaking awesome. Lovely staff. A little pricey but great.

It’s always a risk when you order duck. You can end up so disappointed but that is certainly not the case at Momofuku Ssäm Bar. We were celebrating a double birthday and decided to splurge on the rotisserie duck meal. Was a bit worried that...it may not be enough for our party of 7 but we’re delightfully surprised with the generous serving. First the duck is presented and then brought back to the kitchen where it is expertly cut into perfect slices, served with rice, chive pancakes and garnished with cilantro & watercress. There is also crispy shallot, barbecue sauce and ginger scallion sauce that you can add to your duck and wrap it all up in a piece of bib lettuce. The perfectly cooked duck stuffed with sausage was tender and juicy. We were all happy including members of the party who rarely eat duck. It’s worth the $175 price tag.More

I wasn't sure how much I would like this place knowing they're known for their pork buns. I had the brussel sprouts and shiitake buns and was blown away by the flavors! Our waitress was also wonderful. Can't wait to go back!

I love David Chang and we had chance to eat here recently. The food did not disappoint. Service was excellent and quick. They were great at recommendations and they even had cans of Heady Topper which I jumped at the chance to get. It was...excellent. As far as food we got the following dishes: Fried Shrimp-Excellent with a kick Pork Buns-Just really, really good baos Spicy Sausage and Rice Cakes-this came last. Flavor was good but at this point we were too full to finish...Easily our least favorite dish Market Green and Radish-One of my favorite salads. Great texture and flavor Whole Fish Roasted Ssam Style-One of the best fish dishes I've ever had. Just so flavorful and perfectly cooked Cocount Pie-really different than what we thought but excellent Overall-would recommend coming back hereMore

We were seated 20 minutes late (although we had a reservation). The food is good, the portions are small, so if you are hungry, brace yourself. Our waitress wasn't particularly nice or engaging. Towards the end (as the time to pay was approaching) she finally...smiled. The runners and busboys were really efficient. Prices... well, this is New York, so it's not cheap. But come on! If you see we are four... why bring THREE ribs? How about saying something first?More
