Went to this restaurant for the first time. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The dining space was a little tight for a large party of 14. The drinks were delicious and food was fantastic.

I'd like to go back weigh a larger group to try different foods like the bossam. From what we did try at lunch the kimchi fried rice and beef were excellent. Make sure you eat it like a ssam - use the lettuce as a...More

While David Chang’s cooking has influenced our palate for over a decade, we still were naive enough to believe that his restaurants still had his mojo. How disappointing it was to dine at the Saam bar last night. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive. Portion...More

You definitely need a reservation if you want to come here. The starters were delicious but portions small. We had like 4 different starters and all were delicious. The highlight for us was our special order of duck. It was expensive but worth every penny.

Very hip, very cool. The menu is a bit odd, but very innovative. I sat at the bar and had a gin cocktail with lemon grass, perhaps overkill on the lemongrass, as it was all I could taste. The mussel and shrimp dish over noodles...More

I’ve now been here for two birthday celebrations (mine the first time and my best friend the second time). Inside, the space is modern and compact with a mix of young professionals, for the most part. Service is friendly but not overly attentive. Logistically, they...More

There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to
