It’s tapas themed and busy - clearly very cool at the moment. The menu is fine but some of the dishes were fairly uninteresting and a bit samey. The service is good and it’s not silly expensive. Overall - ok but nothing to dance about,...More

When we come to NY, Stanton Social is one of my all time favorite places to eat. It is a small plate restaurant so you have the chance to sample so many amazing and delicious dishes. Last night, we had: cauliflower with Buffalo wing sauce...More

I can't say enough about this place. Came here with 5 other people, had a 7:30 reservation and coming from Jersey we got stuck in traffic for over an hour. Called the restaurant explained to them our situation and was informed to just get there...More

Love the small plates. They start you off with 4-5 choices and bring them out individually. Really like the complexity of the Boss Tweed drink--very nice. And remember to have the warm doughnuts--fabulous.

Recently visited this place with friends. The menu is great and mainly interesting. Some items are a hit n miss but all in all a great place for a night out. Alcohol prices way too expensive.

Met My friend and My cousin for dinner at The Stanton Social. The food was exciting and held a high level of quality. Good flavours, hip area and a great NY vibe.

Absolutely loved this place! Great atmosphere! Did a lot of research and this was one of the few places that would allow a large group to choose from their a la carte menu. I was there with a group of 10 for my all girls...More

This was my second visit. There is always a crowd and lots of good energy. You wont go wrong with almost anything on the menu; everything is great and since its tapas you can try many things. You will need a reservation.

I have a few comments about this restaurant. First I must say the food was delicious. Portions are made for sharing, and they are all worth tasting. Service leaves much to be desired. Plates were brought out as ready, one or two at a time,...More

This is a very nice place and the food is very delicious and tasty. The food comes on plates for sharing and I would recommend 4-6 dishes and 1-2 desserts if you are two people. We liked everything we had but especially the chicken taquitos...More

Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving
immigrant past and its modern transformation into a
beacon of global art and culture, the Lower East Side
is one of the most dynamic neighbourhoods in the city.
The blocks of tenements that represented the promise
and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience
now command top dollar for new residents. Right next

Chef/owner Chris Santos has teamed up with Tao owner Richard Wolf, and the James Beard 'Best New Restaurant Design' award winning firm AvroKo, to create The Stanton Social, a staple and neighborhood favorite of the Lower East Side. The design of this three level hot spot tips it's hat to the neighborhood's garment history and offers diners a culinary odyssey. All menu items are designed for sharing, offering guests a chance to experience multiple dishes and flavors throughout their meal. In addition to its 120 seats, The Stanton Social offers a lounge and bar on the upper level, featuring guest DJs. Dishes range from $9-$30 each.
