Service was fast & efficient, with us in & out in well under an hour, which made the $80 price tag for the privilege a little hard to stomach for just two pizzas & two drinks. Although the pizza was very good, being a little doughy, it wasn't the best ever, & the Aperol Spritz was missing the key Prosecco... More

I have been here a number of times. The pizza crust and sauce are just perfect. I also love their salad.

My favorite Italian restaurant on the east side, for pizzas, pastas, homemade pasta, and a very good wine selection. Excellent food and service.

Luzzo's could arguably be the best pizza place in Manhattan! Of course, at this level of refinement, the title could also go to a few other pizza joints, like maybe Keste, or Prince Street. But regardless, Luzzo's serves great pizza! Service is fast and friendly and prices are very reasonable! We visit Luzzo's on every NY vacation! If you love... More

Been there at least 5 times. Frankly and from the bottom of my heart, they do the best pizza I ever. I'm an intense worldwide traveler and a pizza lover. I have eaten pizza on the 5 continents with big expectations and rarely I find a pizza that is a proper one. I will always remember how I found this... More

We often make a point to visit Luzzo's when we are in the city. Awesome thin crust pizza that feels like you are eating in Italy. Unique decorations. Cash only, so plan ahead!

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
