Very good place for a vegetarian ramen. The broth was amazing, very hearty e creamy (close to tantan vegetarian ramen - with some kind of vegetable milk). Going back for sure.

The food is very fresh, tasty, and a good selection of ramen dishes plus dumplings, and lot more. Surprisingly good and not your typical "chain" quality.

I'm a Ramen snob. Fresh onions in Ramen must be a NYC thing, I've never seen it anywhere in Asia or Canada. Egg was really good, soup was good, noodles not bad. Pork was not great, could have been softer. I would not return here.

I have been here many times and somehow failed to write a review. First of all, the service is great, with lovely smiling faces and fast very good service. I go through the menu and choose different types of soup that I have not ordered before. I have had the cold noodles in summer, and the hot spicy soups in... More

There are better places for ramen, but this noodle shop is the middle ground for reasonable queues and quality. I never had to wait outside in the cold street to get a table indoors. As for the quality, they do skimp out on the toppings. Nevertheless, it's a noodle shop, not a broth house.

Dinner in East Village/ NYC. We always walk by this Ramen restaurant while getting Bubble Tea - so we've decided to stop in one evening. Restaurant is small, but has a large community table in the middle. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Definitely a good place for quick cheap eats.

Cute little place, perfect for cold days & a meal by yourself or with someone close to you. Incredibly friendly staff, great prices, yummy ramen. Other dishes I've tried here include buns, shrimp teriyaki, edamame and mango ice cream mochi. I would recommend their lunch deal because it gives you a variety of different specialties and is very tasty.

Friendly service but relative slow, I don't know what can happen when the restaurant is crowded. We shared gyozas that were ok and I enjoyed my Rahmen. Probably all their dishes are adapted to the Western taste but hey, it is a cheap place, I don't expect more than I recieved. Nice place.

We went here on a Saturday night and the place was packed. Luckily, there was only a short line and we waited less than 20 minutes. This place is nothing fancy, which was ok with us, because it's the food that matters. We ordered two appetizers, which were wrapped in a bun - one had shrimp and the other I... More

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
