Visited with my friend last night. Nice atmosphere and great guacamole. BUT my Margarita was undrinkable, the burritos were tasteless and the steak was tough. The waitress was great but I would never go back. All in all a disappointment

Great welcome and service, order taken promptly and starter arrived within 5 mins which was very good, but before I got to the end of the starter, the main dish arrived and starter plates removed. Felt very rushed. Think we left the restaurant before an hour was up!

If you're a fan of Boardwalk Empire, The Aviator or just hooked on the classic, quirky american jazz orchestra era, you'll adore being transported back to the roaring 20s every Monday and Tuesday night at Iguana. That's the night when legendary Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks Orchestra transport guests back to the world of high society and prohibition, a stones... More

Got a take out order as we were staying at the hotel nearby and my husband didn't have time to come sit for a full meal. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and the chili. When I got there, they admitted they forgot to put in the order. But they responded quickly and we both found the food very good. We're... More

Looking for a good Mexican restaurant in New York City and this place was mentioned. I was not disappointed. A warm, friendly welcome and a smiling server set the entire experience. A large selection of Mexican beers and tequilas, along with tasty appetizers. The main dish was excellent and you could tell it was prepared fresh. There was live Mariachi... More

Vince Giordano and the Night Hawks are a thrill and a delight! How lucky that we were there to catch his show on Dec 5, 2016, for our wedding anniversary. The food is above-average Mexican. I had an avocado and shrimp thing and it was very tasty, as well as a couple of "Skinny" Margaritas! Lively crowd, phenomenal music—at $20... More

We went here because it was by our hotel. We were tired, and it was fine. Food was good, service was ok, atmosphere also just ok. Not a bad choice if you just want to eat.

If you like Mexican food, you can't miss it. It is a great value for money, you get big portions. Food and cocktails are delicious. The staff is just amazing and we will thank them forever for their brilliant service. We had issues with our credit cards and we couldn't pay the bill...it was so embarrassing but "Wassim", one of... A friend and I stumbled upon Iguana when looking for a good post-work happy hour spot. The $6 happy hour margaritas had impressively strong pours. We also shared avocado fries and a chicken quesadilla. The fries were absolutely amazing, with a perfect crispy coating. The quesadilla was what you'd expect from a chicken quesadilla. Looking over the rest of the... More

Went in for a late dinner after catching a show on a Friday; there were TONS of people who were drinking cocktails in the restaurant and headed for the clubs (one upstairs, one down). The restaurant was loud and crowded; I thought the serving of free chips with salsa was more of a two-person portion than 4. Our server disappeared... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
