There was nothing remotely special about this place. The sushi was average. The service is average. The prices were average. The spicy tuna was not good. But the gyoza were good. Everything else just average.

We found our way to SuteiShi on a warm, summer night, wandering the city during a business trip. The doors/walls were open, and the breezes were perfect. The sounds of the city were not intrusive. The food and drinks were delicious, and our server made...More

The best Japanese restaurant in the Financial District is on Peck Slip at the northern end of South Street Seaport. Delicious and fresh sushi, as well as Tempura await. Friendly waiters and a view of the Brooklyn Bridge.
Thank you for your review. Glad you enjoyed!

Suteishi never fails. Always fresh delicious sushi. The red dragon roll, eel hand rolls and oyster roll are some of my favorite, but you can't go wrong with tuna sashimi here either.
Thank you so much for the great review Our team thrives on it! The Red Dragon is one of my favorite rolls too! Best, Victor
