Best pastrami sandwich ever. Huge portions though, consider this when ordering. Service was wonderful and the place was super warm and cozy even if outside it was freezing. Delicious kosher options.

What an incredible restaurant! The authentic Jewish atmosphere and cuisine are wonderful, as is the service. Each course, appetizers, and desserts display such great a great variety as that of New York itself. This will certainly be a must visit for me and my family.

Happy with it. Happy to come back. Satisfies my hunger. Brings back memories! It should probably be on second avenue though. Lots of variety

Began with delicious complimentary pickles, two kinds and tart cole slaw- the best! The matzoh ball soup was yummy. Good fresh veggie omelet with challah bread. The pastrami sandwich was to die for!!!!!! And we ended with complimentary shots of chocolate cream soda!

Yes -- both locations. The Kashrut certification is online and of course displayed in the store. I can't print a link on TA, but if you search on Google with the following words, you can see it: 2nd Avenue deli NYC kosher

Should trip adviser decide my answer is inappropriate, don't post it. It is my honest answer which is trying to help the questioner decide what choice to make. I am suggesting a viable alternative to be constructive.
