Soggy, poor tasting penne dish as well as seafood platter that was ordered. It's been quite some time since I have been so grossly disgusted for choosing this restaurant to eat with a friend.

Joined friends for dinner prior to theater. Friend made request for slight change to meal with waiters approval. His meal arrived incorrectly to table. When he made this known, staff appeared confused and waiter was no where to be found. Meal arrived approx 30-45 minutes later when all others were finished. This could have been done in 5 minutes and... More

Truly horrific food. Big disappointment. Calamari breading is tasteless. Pizza is underbaked, soggy, and tasteless. Mozzarella on pizza is bland. Poor ingredients all around. Highly overpriced for poor quality food. Exceedingly noisy. Only good thing going for it is good waiter and good location for theatre. Avoid it if you possibly can. Eat at MacDonald's instead.

I didn't actually eat here, so maybe the food is good. But, I had a reservation here which I unfortunately couldn't make due to unforeseen circumstances. I called the restaurant to see if I could change the reservation, and before I could even give my name, the person who answered lectured me on keeping a reservation! "I have 250 people... More

During a recent visit to Manhattan, we decided to walk a few blocks away from the huge crowds at Times Square and we discovered Daniela Trattoria. It was the dinner hour and most of the larger restaurants were on a 1 to 2 hour wait and we needed a table for 6. My wife and daughter went inside and the... More

My family and I had another wonderful pre-theatre dinner that was truly delicious from start to finish! My older son and I had the broiled salmon -- tender, moist with a generous side of garlic-sauteed broccoli and fresh spinach. The roasted potatoes were tender, flavorful and seasoned perfectly. My younger son and his friend had the homemade penne alla vodka... More

We had a pre-theater dinner here on the advice of my NYC native aunt. A lovely restaurant with a homey Italian atmosphere. Two of us had the price fixe dinner ($38) which included soup or salad, any pasta or chicken entree, and dessert with coffee. The portions were generous. Excellent location, friendly staff, and delicious food.

We stopped in for a cappuccino and desert after a matinee. The waiter told us we couldn't stay if we weren't going to eat. Funny, the window on the front of the restaurant promotes their cappuccino, but you apparently have to spend $50 or $60 to qualify. There are many good Italian restaurants in this area from which to choose.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
