A refined sanctum of zen elegance and quiet. One of the few restaurants in New York which seems to prize quiet over bustle. The tables are placed well apart and there is no annoying muzak to violate the dining experience. Service is excellent and the...More

Look pictures!Good looking amazing gorgeous taste perfect service! Try it ! We spend $200 corse and $95 wine. We paid total $650 include $100 tips but reasonable we feel. Don't forget we are Japanese live in jp. So it's real one! 一度日本の旅行の方も行かれることをお勧めします。器は名前のように魯山人とはいきませんが感動される事は間違いなしですよ!

Every single course was so incredibly presented and thoughtful. We loved the quiet environment, design, friendly service and amazing food from the first course to the dessert. The green tea and vanilla ice creams with the little cakes and fruit were amazing.

Incredible little place meant for a couple or very small group. Service is impeccable, the food is definitely eclectic - you must like traditional Japanese cuisine. It's a 7-9 course tasting menu that will fill you up and (if you want to splurge) definitely get...More

We have dined all over Japan and have had many Kaiseki dinners. Even the dinners in Kyoto were not better than this. We told the restaurant to create a great meal at around the $200 Per person price range. They ask you to call in...More

This is a tough one for me to critique. The place is small, intimate and despite what I have read here, the service was excellent. Knowledgeable staff, friendly and helpful, timely and respectful. The food was presented perfectly, looked stunning and kept coming. Tiny courses...More
