We love Capers! Small restaurant with a good, quiet atmosphere... wonderful food!! Have never had one bad thing the 4-5 times I've need there. In fact all has been fantastic! Great wine list too! Great place to have a romantic, low key night with food and wine...

The parking lot was full. Diners filled the restaurant inside and out. But any concerns as to what this meant for service were quickly put to rest, as Arkansas Diamond Chef Mary Beth Ringold greeted us upon arrival. Our table of 7 started with shared appetizers--a crab cake, the signature Confetti dip and fried okra--all great! Entrees ranged from excellent... More

I'm a local, and this is one of my regular haunts. They specialize in seafood, have a very good wine list (not world class... very good), beer selection could use some improvement, but always at least 1-2 good craft beers. Jason Tipton is our go-to waiter, one of the best in town. They do a great job on the ribeye... More

Loved the crab and artichoke! The shrimp and grits was very tasty. Some of the best I've had. My husband said the walleye was very good. My one year old daughter was with us and antsy, but all the fellow diners were so gracious and smiling. Made me feel more at ease and a little better having to have her... More

The stuffed artichoke had a tasty stuffing - but I expected to be able to eat the artichoke too. Three of us ordered this - none of the artichokes were cooked enough to be edible - warmed a little but not cooked. The stuffing relied too much on heat and too little on flavor. I'm from New Orleans so I... More

Friends suggested we all eat at Capers tonight.. A real disappointment.. first of all, if a noisy, elementary cafeteria is your cup of tea this is your place. It is the LOUDEST, NOISIEST finer dining restaurant I have ever been in. Seriously! You have to yell to be heard.. O top of the noisy restaurant, the food is really just... More

Friendly, attentive staff. If you like heavy and cream based dishes, this is the place. The stuffed artichoke was all about the stuffing while the walleye was overwhelmed by sauce. My husband ordered the salmon salad which we both found was uninspired. Thought maybe the desserts would improve the experience....not so much.

Had a friend recommend this restaurant during a recent business trip. I'm so glad we listened to him! Wonderful place with friendly atmosphere and very nice menu. The wait staff was warm and helpful, and our meals were spectacular! I had the special for that evening (Sea Bass glazed with horseradish, some Mahi, and two bacon-wrapped shrimp) which was perfectly... More

After a day of sightseeing, we wanted a nice restaurant away from downtown. We arrived prior to the 5 pm opening time, but entered through the door on the deck. Jason introduced himself and graciously offered to serve us drinks until opening. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the weather and setting. The food was wonderful. I had the... More
