Good stop for long car ride. This is my cousin's fave restaurant...She stops here every time she drives through El Paso. Authentic Mexican food.

The food is quite ordinary. The ambiance is very pleasant with a separate bar. Good enchilada sauce, Mexican rice with little peas (fairly good), mashed beans--the same over the years. Many other more traditional dishes with fish and beef. My server Mike was smiling and pleasant--no rush to get me my drink, which crashed into my meal rather than been... More

I went with my co-workers to lunch here twice in October. The food is very palatable, and is actually Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. Even the lunch portions are large, and the service is as fast as you would like it. I have worked in different parts of Mexico and this food is genuine.

I have over 1 million miles on motorcycles and have ridden through El Paso a dozen times. I always stop at Julio's for an authentic Mexican food fix. The Margaritas are super, the servers are excellent and the ambiance is perfect...

Eight family members and myself had a late lunch here and boy were we glad we picked this place. We had several different appetizers and each were delicious. All of the dishes we had were great, including the kids plates. Also, don't miss the cucumber margarita, they're great! David and another server provided excellent service and were very attentive. So... More

Went there with the promise to be the best Mexican (not texmex) restaurant in El Paso. The food taste-wise was ok, I would go back and eat there again. The food it's better than any average tex-mex. They need to lift the game in service, I went last night and I'm still waiting for my tortilla soup. They close too... More

I have been eating at Julio's for over 10 years. They are consistently excellent in both quality of food and ambience. They also have the best salsa of any Mexican restaurant in town!
