Chips were a little hard (thick), salsa was excellent! Menu was very good, food was even better! Would eat there again! Server was very friendly with really good recommendations!

El Paso is known for fabulous, authentic Mexican food. This place doesn't make the cut. Perhaps our dining experience was diminished by a terribly slow waiter, or the side dish - beans out of a can. Regardless, there are better restaurants to choose from on the west side of the mountain.

A local person recommended this restaurant to us as we were passing through El Paso. Having grown up in New Mexico, we are always in search of great Mexican food. This was so disappointing. It was pretty much bland Tex-Mex. We left feeling like one of our trip meals was wasted.

The food at this location was not very good at all, but the service and the bar items were phenomenal. We ordered barbacoa and carnitas. Barbacoa was not meaty, there was more fat on the plate than there was actual meat. The carnitas were way better than the barbacoa, but it is in a different style. The carnitas were more... More

Total let down. Poor quality of food. Carnitas are not authentic. Rice and beans mushy. Will not eat there again.

We were so impressed, we stopped again on our return trip home. The day of the week may make a difference. On both occasions, the Carne Asada was excellent. tender juicy beef with a correctly cooked baked potato. The Queretaro had an excellent taste and was quite tender, but a bit dry, which may be the intended result. Enchiladas with... More

I first visited and ate regularly when this restaurant was newly opened. The quality and atmosphere were great. I happened to visit it again last week, what a difference. I ordered the specialty plate of carnitas, nothing like my prior visits, the meat was flavorless, tough, overcooked; the beans appear to be the instant variety rather than fresh cooked and... More

We tried them for breakfast. I got the juevos rancheros and Cindy got the El Mexicano. Everything was flavorful and fresh but for us it was odd getting ref ride beans with breakfast. It was good but I couldn't eat like this regularly.
