We were in El Paso for the evening and wanted to have an authentic Mexican meal. I checked TripAdvisor and found L&J which was well rated and in a reasonable location for where we wanted to be. From the outside, it doesn't look like much. The inside was fine, the dining room that we were seated had pictures of people... More

Wow. The atmosphere and customer service top notch. Needless to say it just compliments a very wonderful meal. Had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce with a fried egg... Wow. Enjoy and keep up the great work guys.

The food and atmosphere was great. Lots of flavor. Went in on a Sunday, very busy house. I would highly recommend stopping by for a visit. Only wished there was more parking, this is located in a residential area.

If your in El Paso, you need to experience this gem of a establishment. Family owned and operated for around 80 years. Make sure and get guacamole with your chips and delicious homemade salsa. A little tip; you can purchase the salsa at the restaurant or if you are traveling the airport has it after the security check. Excellent food... More

If you're an old-fashioned Tex-Mex fan, this one's a must: inexpensive, fabulously popular with locals (expect a wait), tortillas are hand-made, busy bustling place with scurrying efficient wait staff.

Great food and great prices! There's a reason it's always packed! But the trip (and not great parking) is worth it.

Thank Maria C
