If you want good breakfast food in downtown Ventura, this is the place to go. A variety of bendict dishes are all solid, beignets are decadent and delicious. Service is always prompt and efficient.

We came here for brunch on our last day in town. We nearly walked right past it as the front door is not heavily marked. Upon walking in it seemed a very small, unassuming establishment. At 11:30 am on a Monday morning there were no...More

Good service with a good variety on the Menu. I got the Crab Cakes. The menu read "weekends only" poached eggs & crab cakes on an English muffin topped with hollandaise sauce. They were just average. I separated the crab cakes from the eggs and...More

Upon advice of locals we had a meal at the Cajun Kitchen Cafe. Our meals were good enough to have a repeat visit the following morning! No one on staff appears to be of Cajun or Creole descent. But don't let the Hispanic staff fool...More

A friend and I dropped in for a late lunch this afternoon. I really enjoy New Orleans style food, but believe me, this is not that. I had blackened chicken and she had blackened redfish. Both meats were mediocre at best and tiny, less than...More

Very quaint and sweet little gem. We went for lunch and they accommodated 6 of us easily. Food was generous portions. New Orleans flair to menu. Service was very swift and good. Food was very tasty. Gumbo was spicy.
