The food was below average. I had pizza. I took some home and usually it's better the second day. I threw it out. I think it was the crust that made it terrible even on the first day. Service was unbelievably slow. This place used to be better.

Milano's feels like a tired restaurant skating by on it's harborside view. The interior is dark, dated, and unappealing. Greetings and hospitality are missing--our host seemed bothered by a request to sit in the outer (quieter) area. The menu is very predictable and the food is just not tasty. Pizza has a thick, pasty crust with little sauce. Service was... More

Staff was wonderful. a friend's child celebrated a birthday and they were so accommodating. Food was excellent and we took portions home. The location near the harbor makes this a great location.

Good Italian food, especially their meatball sandwich for lunch. Appears to be authentic east coast Italian recipes. However, the place didn't look very clean.

Brophy Bros. wait time was about an hour so we went next door to Milanos. Food average. We ordered cerviche and after waiting a ehile we were told that they had run out of chips! My seafood pasta had 2 clams, 2 tiny dry muscles and 2 shrimp and something that looked like little bits of chicken but what I was... More

I eat at Milano's often, usually for their Wednesday Night Lobster Specials, which I reviewed earlier. I visited recently with my husband and was very surprised at the updated food options available. They are not on the menu yet - but check the blackboard outside, or ask your server as they are adding some interesting options to the food and... More

We were driving from San Luis Obispo to Los Angeles and we decided it was time for a meal. Ventura Harbor seemed like a nice place to eat. We saw several restaurants and I noticed a police officer in his car in the parking lot. I asked him what he recommended. He recommended a seafood place and Milano's. The vote... More

A quaint little place in the harbor, right on the water with a beautiful view. The food was great, (I had the lasagna) and the service was good, but the best part of all was the magician that came to our table and entertained us while waiting for the food. We were told he is there every Friday night.

We found Milano's by accident on a busy Sunday afternoon. It is wheelchair accessible, even with their remodeling project. Great view from their Harborside tables. Our pasta dishes were delicious, pasta cooked perfectly, sauces very tasty. The shrimp added to the Pasta Roma were large and flavorful. Wine list is decent & moderately priced. The only drawback was very slow... More
