Went with a group so limited menu offered only. The best luncheon dishes were the Greek salad plates (sumptuous and generous) which were so fresh and had a great variety of ingredients and flavor. The chicken kabobs were only okay and the rice was very...More

We ate here with a group of 30+ people. Even with such a large group, the food was excellent and service efficient. We had a choice of three meals and everyone was extremely pleased with what we were served. I imagine that dining here with...More

Slow service; patio too warm at lunch time. Halibut and salmon had a funny flavor as if pan fried in olive oil, rather tough. Fish and chips were fine. Try Brophy's instead for fish.

I'm Greek-American and have lived in Greece for many years. I have been to the Greek many, many times and thoroughly enjoy it. Although the gyros aren't authentic (something I discussed at length with the owner and it's rare in the States to find a...More

Visited this restaurant with a large group (27 people) for lunch. The food was excellent (have not eaten there at dinner time). I especially liked the souvlaki and my husband liked the gyros. The service was great considering the number of people to be served....More

We eat hear for lunch ever time we go to the Ventura Harbor, but for some reason the food is better at lunch than dinner. Usually we order all the appetizers, but the lemon soup is really amazing.

The pasta with shrimp and lamb gyro was awesome. The portions were big especially the pasta. I can't eat dinner anymore after my lunch. The view with the boats in the dock was so soothing -- such a nice quiet place though there are tourists...More

We have been to Ventura Harbor many times and finally decided to dine here as it's at the furthest end of the village and was the least busy. I'm very glad we came in as it was a great change from the typical and common...More

Description
On the water's edge in beautiful Ventura Harbor, The Greek Mediterranean Steak & Seafood offers a family owned and operated "dining experience" rather than just a meal. As close to the Mediterranean you might find in the states, many liken it to stepping onto the Island of Santorini, Greece. Enjoy even more food variety with all new menus with fabulous food photography (along with a name change). Open daily at 11 am for lunch and 4pm for dinner, as well as breakfast on Saturday & Sundays 8:30am-11am. The Greek is a great location for family and business gatherings with harbor-side activities most weekends. A recent focus on 3-5 daily selections of fresh and local seafood and produce with house specialties makes the Greek a healthy and eat local favorite. Authentic Mediterranean dishes are prepared daily with family island recipes. Saganaki flaming kefalograviera cheese is fired up tableside either inside or on waterfront patio tables. One of the owners hails from Texas so you will find Porterhouse, ribeye and filet mignon steaks on the menu as well. Hard to please the kids? They request to go to the "dancing restaurant" where it is ok to have fun with a kid's menu and activity sheet. Weekend belly dancing, Greek Dance Shows, Demetri's flips and acrobatics and Aris' famous Table Dance will amaze and delight the entire family. Join in the fun with some quick lessons and you too can become "Greek for the Day". First time guests often come as a 2, then share their experience with fiends, returning soon as a 10!! The Greek specializes in parties from 20-50 and a variety of group menu selections are available on our website. Inside seating capacity is 150 and patio capacity is 125. Holiday Group Parties include free entertainment and decorations. Groups can also book during the Parade of Lights weekend Boat Parade in December, subject to availability. Reservations are recommended and available online or by calling the restaurant. Full Bar Service inside and on the waterfront Santorini Bar & Lounge.
