Dropped by this place after a day at the beach. It's a cute little restaurant. The service was really friendly and fast. We had Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken Low Mein. Both were served hot. They looked good and they tasted good. Enjoyed our meal. Will be back.

Downtown Ventura just off the 101 and California Street. Easy to locate, Huge free parking in the rear. Long established but freshened traditional Cantonese style decor and cuisine. Popular buffet. Polynesian entertainment.

I have lived in Ventura a long time but just recently ate at the Hong Kong Inn. A group of friends were there to eat dinner and listen to the blues band. Both were enjoyable. All the dishes were tasty and fresh.

We like coming here when in Ventura, When we stopped by it was just changing over to the new management, it was also kind of late at night which is nice to have options other than fast food. It took awhile to get our food but it was worth it. I honestly forgot what we ordered but I'm pretty sure... More

An old Chinese restaurant, now under new management. Food is pretty consistent and good, reasonably priced. Does get busy if there is live music in the evening.

We got there pretty late and were the only guests. The dishes were quite tasty. They can make some of them vegan. Our teenagers enjoyed their meal as well.

We stopped for their buffet lunch. It wasn't what we expected. We've been to huge Oriental buffets and this buffet was only about six chafing dishes and two soups. We decided that we don't need so many choices and the food that was served was very good.

I recently ate lunch here after seeing the sign that there was a change of owners. The new group seem more interested in providing good service. The food was excellent although in no way authentically Chinese. Despite the buffet, which I did not try, the veggies in my food were crunchy and fresh, sauces were piquant without being too spicy.... More

We dropped in to the Hong Kong Inn and was surprised it was their first Salsa Night. Lots of good music and amazing dancing and Margaritas at only $4 a glass - all night. The service was good, can remember the food as the margaritas too over....but if it had been bad I would have remembered. Great night. I think... More
