Great little fish 'n chips eatery very close to the beach. Served old-school style in a paper filled basket (food quality paper printed to resemble old newspaper :) ) Very delicious fish n' Chips, and even if you don't upgrade to their famed onion rings, you still get a couple of rings with your fries. Extremely friendly service! The only... More

We got the Sewards Sampler, and onion rings. The onion rings were as good as everyone said very fresh! The fries were good, and the shrimp and fish were fantastic. Got a clam chowder to go as well.

Absolutely hands down the best fish and chips anywhere and please order a side of onion rings! I'm born and raised in San Diego and have eaten fresh local seafood everywhere but this place does it right!

I stole the title from a previous writer - but it is accurate. The facility looks like the "Hole in the Wall" that you have heard about. But, it was recommended so we tried it. We are fans of fish and chips, and they do that as the primary item. The fish and chips was battered just right and was... More

Ate here last Sunday as we finished our weekend and enjoyed the last few hours at the beach before heading home. I am glad we gave this place a shot. I had the Seaward Combo - fish, shrimp and scallops. All excellent, hot, crispy and fresh. Plenty of fries to go with them. I especially enjoyed the homemade tartar. Hubby... More

Ordered Alaskan cod fish and chips- nothing special- and watched the cook open a big bag of frozen potatoes and there you go. Why can't restaurants actually cook. Cut up some potatoes and cook.. ugh. Tasted ok. When I asked for ketchup in a small to-go cup I was given a bunch of ketchup packets.. ugh.. again bottles of ketchup... More

Hello, I'm sorry that our product was not up to your standards . As you can see by our reviews most people disagree with you. 99% of restaurants use frys from a frozen state. We have tried in the past to make frys from scratch. Very difficult. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion. One thing you should know is... More

And we were not disappointed even if the alcohol license has still not been renewed. However, this did not detract from a fabulous fish & chip meal and, hopefully, we'll be back again next time in Ventura even if it's 8,000 miles away.

I think this was unquestionably the best fish and chips I've had outside of London! Light batter, not at all greasy, delicious fish and chips. A rare find just off the beach.
