Hot Tomato Pizzeria is consistently good. It's always busy though, so plan accordingly, but the food is great, frequent live music, and a great patio.

We drive from GJ, even though there are good pizza options there. Its worth the drive. Doesn't matter which pie you select - all we've tried have been great. Very nice antipasto salads too. Seating is frequently at a premium. Its catch-as-can, grab a table when one frees up.

We always make a stop when in town! I'm partial to the calzones but their pizza is awesome too! Love hanging out in the back patio with friends.

Everyone who has been to Fruita knows about the Hot Tomato. It's not the only restaurant in town, but it best represents Fruita. People here are nice and friendly. The food is made from the best and freshest ingredients. Although often crowded, the pizza is delivered with efficiency. And a smile. We arrived and were greeted by a long line.it... More

It was the 3rd time I've tried to eat there and we finally got in. This place is always busy for a reason. If you are passing by Fruita Co. and dont stop for a slice at Hot Tomato..... well you are missing out.

The perfect crust in my opinion because it's not thick and bready nor a cracker. Toppings are fresh and super creative. The atmosphere is funky and fun with live music on the patio common in the warm season. A fun place to go- very casual and frequently full of cyclists.

The vibe. No wait, it's the variety of pizza. But, the salad is wonderful too. Here's the thing; no matter what night of the week it is, Hot Tomato is standing room only - and for good reason. Fortunately, we ordered take out for a large business meeting and Hot Tomato delivered.

The place is usually crowded, so the pizza must be quite good and it is for this area. However, the pizza lacks flavor (bland sauce, tasteless crust), is rather expensive, and since I am not a beer drinker find the loud party atmosphere no fun. When I state loud, I mean, shout at the person seated next to you loud.... More
