Lovely restaurant opposite the Cumberland Island ferry dock. Good food, good service. Recommended but we felt ot was a little pricey (hence 4 not 5!)

Picked up insulated bagged lunch to take with on the ferry. Contained sandwich, chips, cookies, apple, crackers and water for $9 which wasn't a bad price since there are no options in the park unless you bring your own food.

Had a wonderful experience in the newly opened The Aft Room Pub with Cindy and delicious dinner. Drink service was fast, food service adequate for Friday evening. I had the gator tail basket including fries and hush puppies. My husband had the shrimp and scallop dinner that included two sides and a house salad. All were nice size servings and... More

Food was good and service was also good. The best views and loved the old music they were playing. Definitely will go again.

Loved the food! Well cooked and presented. However the décor is odd to say the least. It looks like there was a yard sale on office/institutional furniture. Some guy in the back had his dog with him in the dining room - YUCK. He disappeared into the back rooms....I hope not into the kitchens.

We did the ferry to Cumberland Island and were hungry for some great seafood. The waitress at Seagles was more interested in her love life with another worker at establishment. We had to ask for water twice, ask for silverware , we had to go get salt and pepper from another table, then we got our order of bourbon salmon... More

Our dinner was delicious and prepared very well. Enjoyed looking out over the river from our corner table.

The service was slow (on a Monday night in January). As a vegan, I always inquire before being seated. The waitress agreed that I could order the Asparagus/Mushrooms in tomato-basil marinara on a baked potato. Thirty minutes later (we had eaten the iceberg lettuce, carrots, tomato, onion salads--served cold) my plate came out without marinara sauce. "Our marinara sauce has... More

If you are visiting St. Mary's, Georgia to travel to Cumberland Island or relax at one of the B & Bs in the area, you should avoid eating at Seagles Restaurant at all costs. We recently "dined" at this establishment and it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had at a restaurant! Both the food and the... More

Menu is limited. The the garlic bread literally was just toasted bread that had butter concoction on top. My date haf steak which he said was okay. The building is old so take care that there will be an ordor.
