Dinner was fantastic. Excellent scallops and jambalaya. Very nice sized portions at a reasonable price. Service was a little slow, but all in all a good experience.

Not a lot of seafood options in the area but this one is really rough. The restaurant smells fishy, and good fish should not smell, so no excuses there. The menu has fine-dining prices with diner quality food and presentation. It cost my grandfather and I $67 to eat here. I simply recommend going elsewhere.

This was my first time here. I chose to order the "Oscar" filet. I asked for it medium... it came our Rare. They had to cook it more. Also one of our companions Salmon was under cooked as well. Loved the presentation of our food, very fancy! The "ship wreck" drink was delicious!! Would probably go back again. Nice atmosphere!

First, the clam chowder is excellent. The special boullabaise was underwhelming. Our server was efficient, even overly so. We weren't finished with our soups when our entrees came out. Throughout the meal she wanted to clear dishes without asking if we were finished. We said something about it and she responded well. The key lime pie was made from scratch... More

This place is an awesome restaurant, that you have to look close to find. Parking sucks, but the food is great. They make their calamari in thick strips instead of the rings, which makes the best calamari in the world! Service is great, a nice craft beer selection and the seafood is always fresh.

Had dinner with a friend. My meal started fine with a nice Caesar salad, but went downhill when my entree arrived. I had a fisherman's platter with clams, flounder and shrimp. The 3 shrimp were fresh and flavorful, but the piece of flounder was thin and tasted old. However, it was the clams that were really terrible. Instead of clam... More

While in town visiting from Cleveland my son-in-law and I were on our own for dinner, since my daughter and granddaughter were at an event for the evening, so he has always enjoyed Sweeney's Seafood and wanted to take me there for dinner. I thought the food was mediocre and the portions were awfully small. Our server was great and... More

My husband and I have gone a couple of times in the last few months on a Friday night to have appetizers and drinks at the bar. The food has been tasty both times, and we LOVE the calamari, which is cooked perfectly, not greasy at all, and comes with two tasty dipping sauces. The salad is fresh and crisp.... More

Compared to the seafood from the east coast, it was just Ok. Went there especially for fried oysters. Small portion for the price. Different from fried oysters from OC MD, but not bad. Better than none. We love oysters in any form.Happy to have found a place less than 100 miles from home. Didn't care for the mashed potatoes with... More

We do have soft shell crabs as a special when they are in season. Which they are currently not. More
