Had a lovely dinner here and saw many acquaintances as well. The food is always good and I highly recommend any of the veal dishes.

I have been going to this place for 15-20 years. Good solo or large groups. Their occasional wine dinners are a bargain. I always have veal Marsala , garlic bread, and side of pasta( red sauce is better now than years ago). Atmosphere is run down

An old time Italian restaurant with excellent food and service. It had been a while since we had been to the Vineyard and not sure why. The food is always great with perfect sauces and topping and service perfect. We had the special appetizer the borrata made with mozzarella cheese and tomatoes over toasted bread and it was great. So... More

Whenever we get a desire for Italian we go to the vineyard! Some call it the best kept secret in Bethlehem/ Fount hill area, But Pete and his family draw a steady crowd, almost every time I've been there its packed, but there always seems to be room for us. If you have more than 2 however make a reservation.... More

The food here is outstanding - quality and authentic Italian dishes. The chicken is fresh, never frozen. We have always been pleased with the meals here and if you can hold yourself back, there is plenty on the dish to take some home for the next night. Sauteed Calamari - NOT fried. I think that speaks volumes. Please note that... More

We took friends for his 75th birthday. We all enjoyed the food very much. Our entrees were excellent and the staff knows the menu and can explain exactly what is in each dish.

For Mother's Day we took my mom and dad to the Vineyard Restaurant. Hostess wasn't very friendly and didn't have much to say to us; no greeting, but did seat us immediately. Our waitress promptly brought us water without us having to ask for it and told us the specials for the day. Mom ordered the gnocchi with meat sauce,... More

Our meal started with buratta - a fresh mozzarella pouch with a creamy center, served over sliced tomatoes and garlic toast. I believe this was a special, and not on the regular menu, unfortunately. Delicious! My chicken parm with spaghetti was wonderful, and plentiful, not too much sauce for me at all. But then, I like sauce! The service was... More

The Vineyard may well use good ingredients: fresh, homemade pasta? Perhaps. Tender chicken and veal? Maybe. Good seafood? Quite possibly. But you'll have no way of knowing if any of this is true, because the chef chooses to distinguish each dish by submerging the main ingredients in an ocean of sauce. The chicken parmagiana is a piece of chicken (I... More
