I am eating here because it's a long way back to NYC, to get dinner..All in all its okay, but so so food, not attentive service. The malbec wine is great, the food just isn't like wow...It's also ridiculously over salted..It's priced fairly..I think the fish place here is alot better, we had to ask for water 3 times..I guess... Our annual roadtrip down to New Orleans generally starts out with a stop at Sands Bethlehem PA. This year due to the Carnegie deli being closed and one other restaurant being remodeled we tried Emeril's chop house. Had a chili lime shrimp cocktail which was awesome and the bouillabaisse. Both were very good. Normally not the dinner we usually have... More

We had dinner on Friday night and had the lobster bisque, wedge salad, filet, bone in ribeye, and vanilla ice cream, and one drink each for $200. The wedge salad was good and huge. The lobster bisque was bland, thin, and had way too much tomato base. It was tomato soup and lacked all characteristics of bisque. The filet and... More

Way over priced! Quality is exceptional for the little amount of food that you receive. You definitely pay for the "experience" of eating a famous Chef Emeril's restaurant. Once & done for me. I could have bough 4 dinners for what we paid. Service was subpar. The staff wasn't very attentive & at times snooty so it was only right... More

We decided to stay at the Sands hotel on our return trip home! Found this on trip advisor with a 4+ rating and I totally have to disagree. The food was twice the price I would have paid anywhere else and not as good! The wait staff was exceptional though! Would say this is a total pass for me!

Visited Christmas Eve with loved ones...food was fantastic as it is always. Lobster bisque and gumbo packed with flavor. Filet mignon cooked to perfection...Short ribs so tender served over the best polenta I've ever had...Nothing but the best for my family...Took them to Emerils Chop House and it was amazing...

Wonderful wait staff that were very accommodating and apologetic when the customer next to my table said her meal was ruined because it was on top of the mashed potatoes and not on the side....ridiculous. They immediately brought her a new dish and said they were sorry, all with a smile. I only had the wedge salad and a fantastic... More

I was here on a business trip, and we ate at the Chop House on the last night. I had a 7 oz. filet mignon, that was as tender as a marshmallow. So flavorful, I didn't even put ant salt, pepper or sauce on it. The banana cream pie for dessert was awesome, so fresh tasting, everyone at the table... More

My wife and I had reservations for her birthday. My prime rib was ordered med well but came out very rare. Of course I asked if they could just put it back in to cook a little more, it took 15 minutes. Of course my wife was pretty much finished with her meal even though she tried to eat very... More
