Best food in the North East - Reasonable prices - Extremely clean and nice restauraunt. We never miss an opportunity for at least one visit when in Philadelphia. Picanha has never disappointed us in five-years of visits. Nice folks and great food!!!

My husband and I go to dinner with another couple once a month. We decided to try Picanha in Feb. What a wonderful treat. We have been to 2 other Brazilian restaurants in NJ and PA. This was the best. The meat that they brought to the table was very well flavored and cooked to perfection. The salad bar had... More

My colleague from Saudi Arabia was visiting Philadelphia for the first time for a 10 day workshop at Salus U in Elkins Park, so after picking up Alfarghal at the airport and making the obligatory stops at Termini's for cannoli and Independence Hall, it was dinner at Picanha, as he never had South American food before. Since he's a soccer... More

My husband and I went out for a special dinner and chose Picanha. We have not been in the restaurant for a while, but it seems they upgraded. Nothing fancy, but a very welcoming and happy atmosphere. The food was delicious, and it was very fresh. It was not crowded when we got there so the food was hot and... More

I had purchased a coupon from Restaurant.com. I had never been here before. My husband was skeptical as he prefers to go to Restaurants that he is familiar with. We were both very pleasantly surprised. The meal is buffet style. You can choose either full buffet for $24.99 or per pound charge of $7.99 per pound. The food is very... More

I have been to other Brazilian restaurants (don't want to mention names) that are known as the best. But picanhas is much better. Trust me. Not comparing with back home :/ But out of the Brazilian steakhouses here in Pa I have been Picanhas is one of the tops I love.

My family and I have visited Picanha numerous times over the last 10 years. They offer traditional Brazilian food without the glamour and high price of the two big rodizio's in town. They offer rodizio (table service), as well as the option to pay by the pound. Unless you can literally eat an entire cow it truly is a better... More

Visited here for a rehearsal dinner, so cannot comment on pricing. On the outside this place doesn't scream- "hey! eat here!" but everything on the large buffet was pretty tasty followed by servers slicing several meats/ chicken onto your plate. We found this to be hit or miss- some fatty, some overcooked and some was really, really rare. The meats... More

This is a very casual, simple place with little or no decor but the food was very good. Everything looked fresh and tasted good. The Buffett variety is huge so if you are a vegetarian, they have enough for you to eat as well. At the end of the Buffett you can get them to cut you some chicken, beef,... More
