Wow!!!! From the time we entered the lobby and were treated by a pleasant hostess who sat us right on time for our 7pm reservation to the awesome wait staff and manager this was a unique and one of a kind experience. The views of the city skyline are special but were outdone by the excellent food and dining experience.... More

This restaurant is truly unique. The location is amazing. You get a great view of the city from every angle. The service is great and the food is special. Of course the prices are high but the location, service, and food are worth it.

The view in this restaurant is great, the ambience is very nice and service was good, you have to give a deposit to book a table so make sure its subtracted from your bill, I just got my CC statement and it was not taken off. It was restaurant week we were not aware but they had a fixed menu,... More

This was our first time there, and it was awesome!!! Birthday dinner for my wife. I saw some poor reviews but after attending I have no idea what they were referring to. The service, awesome! The view, spectacular! The ambience, romantic! The food, scrumptious! Loved it and will return

As far as "top of the town" restaurants go, R2L is for sure worth a trip when visiting Philadelphia. No knock on the city, but similar venues in Chicago or Pittsburgh offer more dramatic vistas. On the other hand, the service was top notch the food well prepared and the wine list approachable.

Pl, I'll admit it. I am a bit of a food snob. I have been fortunate in my life to have traveled and eaten at many restaurants around the world. I also have some serious culinary skills so I tend to judge my dining experiences on service, presentation and overall impact as I can generally replicate the food offered. R2L... More

What an experience! From taking the elevator to the 37th floor and overlooking the city of beautiful Philadelphia, to the great service and unique combination of flavors from the food, my date and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at R2l, and would highly recommend it to couples looking to go on a date (I recommend later at night, as overlooking... We went there for a birthday dinner and the ambience didn't disappoint, the restaurant has amazing views of the city on all sides and there really isn't a bad table, the atmosphere is classy and swanky. The service staff was attentive and our server was knowledgeable and very personable. What did disappoint were the entrees, we feel they were overpriced... More

The restaurant has magnificent views of the city on 3 sides. The tables close to the windows are a premium and inspite of early reservations, we were not given one. The irony is that two of the tables were empty for the entire duration (2+hrs) that we were there at the restaurant. Drink menu is excellent and has a lot... More

This was ours second Christmas Eve dinner at R2L. Very disappointed both times. I think this place is overrated, and also over price. The presentations looks great, but the food was not that great, not worth the price. We know fine and dine, this was not one of them. The only thing we like was the lobster macaroni. The rest...
