We were actually heading to another place but passed by here and decided to give it a try after reading the menu posted outside - Brisket Burger sounded good. Inside its casual and festive with an open floor plan. An extensive beer list started us off and we ordered asked for the "Burger" . Turned out that the posted menu... More

The food was excellent with only one exception (coke slaw). The beans, collards and potato salad were delicious as was the cornbread. And the meats are terrific. Great service also.

Went here for the second time at lunch. Had the new Brisket burger and the 1/2 pound brisket. This is very very good BBQ. May not be the best but close. You can order your brisket lean or with a little more flavor and fat. We had sides of burnt beans and the german salad which was good, not great... More

We went to Percy's BBQ for lunch after seeing it on the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives website. We ordered the beef brisket sandwich. While we were waiting, they served us this yummy cheese and crackers. All I can say about this sandwich is WOW, WOW, WOW!! best I have ever had. We were in town for the weekend and I... More

I've had a lot of really good BBQ in Texas, NC and Kentucky. This is okay BBQ which may pass for good in the North. Mac &Cheese was good, also enjoyed the German potato salad. Had the chopped brisket, pulled pork and chicken; they were all okay. Nothing mouth watering. Pulled pork was the best; they let you sauce it... More

The food was quite good. We tried the fried green tomatoes and enjoyed them very much. The brisket was great and you can order it lean or less lean, as you prefer. Service was good and we enjoyed the music -- blues, etc.

Pretty good place to eat. Hipster joint, hence they don't seem to care to much about ya, but the service is good. Rub was interesting on the ribs. Portions were ok, but not huge. Side dishes were cool. The cornbread is delicious. Sauces are good. The hot one is really hot. Good drinking scene. Music is good and not too... More

We had our son's rehearsal dinner there, after having eaten at the restaurant a couple of times. Food was great and Neira and Robert took great care of us - offering good menu choices which worked well. Staff was attentive and responsive. The restaurant was a great choice and we'll look forward to other (less crowded) times to go back.

Instead of BBQing ourselves we decided on Labor Day that we would like someone else do it. We enjoyed the ribs, pulled pork, deviled eggs and the best brisket we've had in a long time. Loved the decor. The service could of been more attentive when our drinks ran low but she was polite and busy. We will go again.

So, before anyone talks about BBQ, they need to provide some context. Although not born in the South, I've lived in Virginia and spent a fair amount of time in South Carolina and central Texas. While this doesn't make me on expert, I can say I have a BBQ frame of reference. So, when I say Perry Street BBQ's pork... More
