I love Starr restaurants but this might be my favorite. So thoroughly dedicated to a the British pub experience you can't help but feel completely transported across the pond. Try to get a table on the top floor so that you have to walk through the warren of lovely rooms. Table 64 is particularly inviting. The prices were more than... More

Dandelion has a great reputation for its unique decor & charm. I loved seeing the dog room & hope we get to eat in there next visit.. I had the crab risotto & a signature drink made from Scotch & honey that smelled ambrosial. My meal was piping hot & tasty, quite a large portion. Service was friendly & professional.... More

All three beers on cask were $10 a piece. I ordered a beer and the cask went empty half way through filling my glass. Bartender asked me if I wanted to wait until they switched the cask. I said I would wait. After a few minutes the cask was not switched out yet so he brought me the half filled... More

Had the pleasure of visiting the Dandelion on a "date night" with the wife. We arrived about 45 minutes early for our reservation due to other plans moving up and as expected on a Saturday night, our table was not ready yet. We gladly waited at the bar and had a cocktail while we waited. The bar area is a... More

We were 4 friends having dinner here before heading out for the night. We called a week in advance for reservations and they only had 5:45 and 9:15 available, so if you want to eat here at a relatively normal dinnertime, call well in advance. We had a very nice dinner and enjoyed the ambiance. It was definitely busy and... More

If you love fish and chips like I do, this place is by far the best around to get them. Fries takes like boardwalk fries, and the fresh cod is fabulous. Great beer selection as well. This was our first time, but we would definitely return.

We chanced upon this place while trying to get Hillary Clinton elected. That did not work out so well, but this laid back pub near Rittenhouse Square was a great place for lunch. It was extremely busy, but the staff were very charming and made all efforts to find the three us a table, which they did pretty quickly. The... More

Highly recommended. To avoid any miscommunication you should reserve a table on the 1st or 2nd floor. We thought by putting our names on the waitlist and accepting to wait for 45 minutes that meant we will be sitting at a nice comfy table anywhere but by the overcrowded bar. We even requested a table on the 2nd floor. However,... More

Just like a genuine England Pub this has a very authentic menu and old tables and chairs. They provide FREE FIZZY WATER which saves you $4per person. Be sure to ask for the complimentary break basket--it's all fresh baked to accompany your meal

We were in Philly for business and decided just by the location and outside appearance to try this spot. It was delicious, cozy and the customer service perfect! We are coming back to the area soon and will take friends there to visit as well. Good find.
