The Dandelion gastropub is housed in one of the most charming exterior buildings in the city. Every visit to Philadelphia we dine here. The restaurant has two floors, dimly lit & very cozy. We usually grab a seat at the downstairs bar. We enjoyed three...More

We loved our dinner at Dandelion, not so much the service-- inattentive and not terribly friendly, both at the bar and at our table. But with that out of the way let's rave about the food. Marinated olives, ricotto to die for, lovely kale salad,...More

The food was delicious, but the restaurant is in a multi-floor, narrow space which makes it feel way too crowded. People bump into you while you're eating constantly. We won't be back as it was not a comfortable environment to eat in. Shame.

I had arrived last night from Australia and my friend took me straight to The Dandelion. It was so gorgeous on the outside and then when we walked in I was floored by the eclectic decorating and utter grooviness of this place. We went to...More

I wish I could adequately describe the kindness of the servers and host (Ahmed) at the Dandelion. They were always near by to keep our drinks filled and check on us; I felt like royalty. Daniel and Kayla, our servers, didn’t miss a beat; truly...More

We booked a table here for tea to celebrate a family birthday. The selection of finger sandwiches, cakes and pastries was very good, as was the tea. A very friendly atmosphere in a great old pub. We will definitely be back for drinks and dinner...More

Loved the building and location. Right on the edge of Rittenhouse Square. Building is old with a ton of character. Nicely decorated with plants and flowers in the flower boxes in the windows. Fantastic dirty martini!. Fish and chips were great per my old man....More

Great "pub" food and great atmosphere. Multiple bars on multiple floors. Upscale. Great location by the park.

Didn’t look like much from the outside and the menu didn’t impress. But four of us absolutely loved our food. Rabbit pie, tandoori chicken, and shepherds pie were all amazing! Would definitely go back.

First time I've seen a Pimm's Cup on a bar menu, and it was excellent. Twice. Also tried the Lamb Shepherd's Pie, which (although a touch on the small side) was very tasty. My friend got Steak and Chips, which were flavorful and larger than...More

Susan, give the restaurant a call. They serve alcohol, not a BYOB place. They have many unique spaces for dining

There is no particular dress code. You can always feel comfortable if you go neat and clean with clothes in good repair. I always like the very casual but very expensive look....
