This was my first time at a Corner Bakery Cafe (It's a chain.), I was unsure of what to do, there were no signs with instructions, and no worker was greeting and giving directions, nor did any worker notice my confusion, and try to help. I ended up asking another patron how it worked. It turns out that you go... More

No gluten free snacks. Very impersonal. Asked for directions and staff pointed us in incorrect direction!

I have a restricted diet but can eat oatmeal for breakfast. This pleasant bakery/café does a good range of oatmeal so we went every morning for breakfast of our six night stay in Philly. The highlight for me was the Swiss oats which I am going to try to make at home although I cannot serve it with the lovely... More

Corner Bakery has more than baked good. The menu for lunch is pretty extensive with soup, salad, sandwich or meals. They have takeout orders or you can order for sit in service. They give you a number which you take into the dining area section so it to be delivered. Plenty of seating choices available. The food was served quickly... More

Was happy this cafe was open early Thanksgiving morning. Coffee and bagels were perfect. The staff were cheerful and warm!

On the corner of JFK & 17th you'll find Corner Bakery Cafe. Visited on our last day in Philly for breakfast. Counter service with good brought out - reasonable price for a big plate of food. Help yourself to 4 different blends of coffee (Bakers Blend has a kick!) Eggs are light and fluffy and bacon crispy. What more do... More

A place to eat if you are a vegetarian and looking for choice. Excellent quality of food. Very helpful and friendly staff. Their lemonade is the best I have tasted anywhere. Fond of bagels and cream? Go for it. Like black bean soup for lunch, the flavour is mouth watering.

On this visit my wife and I got only coffees and pastries. Basically we were killing time before an appointment. We sat and ate and read and no one bothered us. On previous visits we have had one of their many custom sandwiches or one of their tasty soups. Whatever we had it was always very good. When we stop... More

We'd walked past this eatery a few times so had to give it a try one morning - there's a comprehensive menu which will offer something for anyone, I had a wrap-spinach-egg something. Wife said the coffee was good.
