We enjoyed late night drinks here and a lovely sticky toffee pudding as well. Fun bartender and interesting venue upstairs featuring some kind of transgender burlesque show the night we were there. Great draft craft selection including Old Speckled Hen on Nitro (!), and some...More

Go for the beer, stay for the beer, eat elsewhere. Fish was dripping grease, so much that the fries under it were soggy with grease and inedible. Stay away from the water or any drinks made with water or soda, very bad tasting. Left unable...More

Stopped by on a Saturday evening prior to a concert at Festival Pier for a few drinks. Service was quick and friendly. Tried the Curried Cheese Chips and they were amazing. Definitely stop by if you get a chance.

Stopped here for lunch and it was great! Our server/bar tender was very friendly and made a great cucumber cooler. Fish and chips were perfect and my husband said his roast beef sandwich was very flavorful. We would definitely return and I highly recommend it!

Always pay a visit when im stateside and now they have Carlsberg on tap, proper size pint glasses and great staff, why go anywhere else. My favorite bite is the curry cheesy chips and the trivia night (on Wednesdays) is brilliant.

By all means go to Front Street and eat/drink at the Victoria Freehouse. Very friendly pub, good beer, good food and good service. Try the mushy peas! And the fish and chips.
