Tre Scalini is one of the best Italian restaurants in Phialdelphia and definitely the best Italian BYOB. All of their pastas are superb. The pasta nera (black pasta with prawns and crabmeat is red sauce) is a must. The veal fillets with mushrooms and steak...More

Visited this restaurant with a local. It was on a Saturday night and it was very busy. We were seated immediately and offered our menus, water, and a wine bucket for our wine ( BYOB). Our server was excellent and very willing to offer recommendations....More

Took my family there just before my daughter moved to Denver. Eat in or dine outside - the food is wonderful. Homemade pasta! BYOB. What more can you ask for? Good service and priced right. Would definitely go there again.

I am not a yuppie, and tres Scalini had a good restaurant and reputation at its previous location. When it relocated to present location , I tried it twice and it was bad. I got a gift card, and used it this past Saturday. It...More

One of the best restaurants I've been to in awhile. The fact that is in South Philly makes it even more special. Wait staff were so friendly and helpful. Its a BYOB and I love that.

This place was horrible! First, I asked for butter for my bread and they told me they don't have any. I guess they use some alternative to butter in the kitchen. Second, they charged us an astronomical price for family-style appetizers which consisted of bread and...More

I hosted a party for 11 people there on a Sunday late afternoon. I advance ordered family style dishes. Everything was excellent and the service was outstanding. There was plenty of food for all of us, and every dish was distinctive and well prepared. All...More

What is the average price range for two people eating only entrees?

Entrees run about $22-33. The real expense is in wine, it isn't a BYtO. But it is worth it. Tax is 8% and wine has its own tax.
