..first of all, the dinner was excellent, great service, great setting. It is French food, which is usually (as in never) on my agenda but was great. To paraphrase Ferris Bueller "we ate partridge". It is a BYOB place, and my associate who organized it...More

Perfectly delightful experience. Perfect pairings. Perfect balance. Perfect portion size. Perfectly amiable chef/owner. Can't wait to go back.

This continues to be one of (if not) the best Philadelphia restaurant. Food an service are excellent and memorable, Pierre is back in the kitchen and he is an artist with creating fine food. That being said the new price is for a tasting menu...More

We try to go here for special occasions. Everything that comes from the kitchen is spectacular and the service is attentive without being fussy. If I win the lottery, I would eat here every week. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself!

We had a party of seven people at Bibou to celebrate my daughters graduation from the University of Pennsylvania graduate school. The restaurant has a preset seven course menu, with menu items primarily classically french inspired. The fact that Bibou is also BYOB is outstanding....More

Rare, indeed, is a world-class French restaurant that seats merely 18, plus two bar-type seats. The entire concept is reminiscent of the comic BC's apteryx: a hairy winged...More

Went here with my wife, and similar to many other readers we were quite simply wowed. The head chef/owner is a former Le Bec Fin exec chef, and you can see little touches of the famed Philly restaurant (the butter and rolls being the best...More

I don’t understand (except from the vagaries of crowdsourcing) why this restaurant isn’t in the top 5 places in Philadelphia. Instead it is rated at about top 5% and much lower than other places I’ve been to that, while excellent, are eclipsed by Bibou. First,...More

Every serving of the 7 courses was great. We were 6 people and no one could complain about anything. The service was impeccable which made the experience even better.

Teeny spot filled with food worshipers. Everyone is in on the experience. The waiters and staff are determined to be at their best. But it's not stuffy or pretentious, just damned good food. BYO means you can go wild if you like.
