We went into The Plough for drinks one nite while at a convention. It was wonderful! Music was great, atmosphere so warm and welcoming. Went back for lunch the next day and they had Irish Music -- a jam session of many artists. It was even better! Food, delicious and reasonable.

We dined here in a Saturday night for dinner and the food, service, and atmosphere were awesome! I enjoyed a pineapple hard cider with the Shepherd's Pie...beer, outstanding bread and butter too! My husband got a rum and coke and the steak with peppercorn sauce. He loved it. We liked the wood burning fireplace and the calm atmosphere with music... More

We came to The Plough & The Stars after our BYOB trolley tour. We were happy that we're able to quickly stay ten of us. The food was very good- I had the mushroom fricasee and the angus burger. Both were delicious. It was a great dinner!

Five of us went in around 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday. The only menu available to us was their brunch menu - which was fine - plenty of variety. The waiter was a very serious young man who did his best but forgot things - water, ketchup, spoon and even though it was slow it was tough to get his... More

The "Plough" is a popular place for locals/regulars and the swell of tourists that pass by daily en-route to historic Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. This two-level restaurant features an ample comfortable bar with emphasis on Irish liquors and beers. But the luncheon and dinner menu truly excels with off-beat delicious selections sure to please all tastes. For my multiple visits... More

We went there based on a recommendation by a National Parks employee after visiting Independence Hall. She said it was her husband's favorite. I think she meant his favorite place to drink alcohol. I wanted fish and chips. The fish was good but the batter was not done right and was soggy with oil and did not stick to the... More

On a girls trip. Outside looked clean and welcoming and we decided to give it a try. We were immediately welcomed by not only our waiter but by the bartender. Our waiter Shane was informative, pleasant, funny and very patient with 3 middle aged women! Drinks were delicious- food just as equally comparable. We had the chicken wrap and the... More

We were invited to a private/VIP party at The Plough & The Stars. The atmosphere was great and so much fun. Emily was our server and she was awesome! When the building is packed full of people (and I mean packed) it's pretty warm in there.

We had a few drinks here after seeing Hell or High Water. The pub is in the old Corn Exchange Building and is a very nice venue. The food appeared to be standard. Service was relaxed and friendly.

Very attractive and located conveniently in historical area this pub serves excellent food in addition to a great bar. There is an upstairs dining area in addition to the Main Street level space but be cautioned that noise carries up and when it's busy downstairs it can be really noisy upstairs
