Took my wife and daughters for a nice dinner since we would not be able to do Thanksgiving together. The ship is old, the floor slopes to one side, but that is the unique charm of the place that we all enjoyed. For the price you pay for the meal, I have to say the service was only adequate and... My 3rd visit here - very disappointed in the service. Front desk staff was distant / not happy to help. We arrived at 5 pm (slow time) with a reservation and had to wait almost 15 minutes to be seated. Food was good, as usual, but they are too heavy on sauces, which take away from the good food (grilled... More

We went to Moshulu for our son's wedding and reception. He and hi s fiance had made all the arrangements. Our large party of friends and out-of-town relarives had a great time. Good food and good service.

Made reservations and was seated immediately. We were seated right by window and the ambience was very romantic. The waiter gave great recommendations for food and drink. All the courses were served in the proper amount of time which sometimes doesn't happen. I was very pleased and they made our anniversary very special. Kudos

Went here for a birthday dinner after having wanted to try the restaurant for years. We arrived early so we had a drink at the bar. The bartender, Justin, was very friendly and even provided us with dinner menus to see if we had any questions for him. Once we were seated, out waiter Gary started to go through the... More

We really enjoyed our visit to the restaurant. The staff and service was extremely friendly and welcoming and we were taken really good care of. The menu had many attractive options and the food we chose was really good indeed. The best part however was the location and the historical ship the restaurant is build in. Overall, the experience was... More

Just had dinner. If you see this ship in the daytime it looks pretty awful. If youre bringing a chick come when its dark. The darkness hides its exterior quite nicely and its all lit up so it kinda looks romantic. Its October the deck is closed. Maybe I would have had the kind of view I imagined I was... More

I think this restaurant - which has been around forever, apparently - is a good tourist attraction, first date, prom night, family in from out of town choice. It is an old ship that has been turned into a "fine dining" restaurant but has a tricky menu. The standard choices (steak, chicken) are wildly overpriced so it leads you to... More

After reading about the ship Moshulu in the book, The Last Grain Race, I was looking forward to an opportunity to see what kind of restaurant it had been turned into. For our 20th anniversary, my wife and I went, and we were not disappointed. The main dining room is in the upper hold, which has been transformed into a... More

Attended work do on the boat, pleasant evening with good food but very slow service. We were a large group but even so the service was slow. That said I would happily go again with a smaller group
