I was disappointed with an order placed via Grubhub for delivery on 2-9-18. I placed the order @1106 am, scheduled to be delivered between 11:40 -11:50. The ordered finally arrived @12:49. I ordered a chef salad which was ok. I also ordered 2 soups 1...More

Good cheesesteak, although not my favorite in the city (not complaining, still delish). Cannoli was tasty as well. Staff was friendly and efficient despite a huge crowd on a busy afternoon. Note they are cash only - fortunately I had some on hand!

Campo’s was close to our hotel as we dropped in for a famous sandwich. It was really busy with the queue from the counter to the front door and no wonder. Made in front of you while you waited, the cheesesteak sandwiches were great. Would...More

We had heard about the establishment and decided to drop in. We really enjoyed our cheese steaks. Short walk from the Independence Mall. Have a good variety of options to choose from. All the staff were very friendly. We got our food really quickly too.

There was a very Nice staff who definitely love their job here. This place values family and heritage which has kept the tradition alive since 1947. Amazing food and dishes

Great family run business. Friendly and fast service. The best hoagie I have ever had. If you are in town do not pass up the opportunity to stop by for a bite.

Stopped here for lunch Christmas week. So did a lot of people. Hard to find a seat. Seating area is small inside. There may be some outside but it was frigid out. Service was quick. They only take cash. No charge cards. Food was good...More

We had seen their advertisements (and rode on the Big Bus with the Campo's name on it) so when we just happened to be walking by and saw they were open, we went in. I am so happy we did. We each ordered a cheesesteak...More

Description
For nearly 75 years, Campo’s has been serving cheesesteaks, roast pork, and meatballs using recipes handed down through three generations. Ambrose Campo opened in 1947 as a neighborhood corner butcher shop and his son moved the operation to 214 Market street in 2001. Situated in the center of Old City, on America's Most Historic Mile. Campo's offers a great local beer selection as well as several vegan and gluten free alternatives. Campo's has been featured on the Food Network, and is the official cheesesteak of the Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers and Sixers!
