I was lucky to arrive Sunday evening to find it was 1/2 off bottles of wine/sparking wine day! We were offered water & promptly ordered a bottle of Prosecco for $22. On this occasion we sat at the bar with a lovely view of Rittenhouse Square. I have also been seated in the dining room and they both feature soaring,... More

Last lunch in Philadelphia and a very nice one too. We both ordered the lumpcrab cakes, mash potato and asparagus. I had a dirty martini which was generously sized and delicious. Sat in a booth...nice table cloths and a comfortable feel about the place. I had been put off by the entrance area and exterior so hadn't booked it but... More

Had the tuna poke appetizer and was delicious. The jalapeño cheddar biscuits with maple butter to die for. Crab cakes salmon shrimp all fresh and seasoned perfectly. Can't wait to return.

Wife and I went prior to the flower show. Had martinis, salads, and both had lobster tail. We both commented how bad the clarified butter was. We stopped using it and finished our meals. When the waiter came to clear our plates, we told him. He said he would mention it to the chef. Waiter returned and said the chef... More

Devon was a very happy surprise. My wife and I had stopped expecting too much from seafood restaurants because so many of them fail to offer dishes that are truly memorable. Devon served up well prepared and delicious fare. The ambiance was classy and service outstanding. The menu includes a range of great selections and we can't wait to go... More

What a great experience for dinner at the Devon last night. Myself, my wife and 2 daughters had an incredible meal. I suggest the Mixed Seafood Grill or Lump Crab cakes to anyone who loves seafood. You won't be disappointed! Lastly our waiter Issac made our dinner experience even better! Great personality to go along with his knowledge of the... More

My wife and I tried The Devon for a late lunch with a friend visiting from Australia on a unseasonably warm Sunday. It was extremely busy which perhaps explains but does not excuse a poor experience. The best food item was the warm cheese scones that were served whilst we were waiting for the starters. It was downhill from there... More

My wife and I went here today because we wanted to eat outside since it was in the upper 60's and the French brasserie on the other corner had a 45 minute wait for outside tables. I hesitated because some recent reviews mentioned slow service. Our service was prompt and the food was good. We started with sharing Vietnamese crab... More

My friend and I dined at Devon Seafood Grill tonight. My third time here in beautiful Rittenhouse Sq. i signed up for their mailing list and Isaac, the best server ever, took great care of us! It was my birthday and not only did he provide a deelish appetizer and dessert, on the house, but on your birthday you get... More

My wife and I were engaged 11 years ago and celebrated at Devon in Philly. We came back to Devon for our 10th anniversary, what a mistake. We had reservations for 8 pm and showed up at 7:50. We were told they were running 15 mins behind. We were seated at 8:50. The good news is my wife and I... More
