There are a few other Chinese restaurants in Chinatown with unusual (for westerners) things on the menu, which I love to try. Sang Kee has some of the more popular of these unusual items, but they are known for duck. I love the Hong Kong style roasted duck, so I am torn each visit on whether to just get the... More

Their Peking duck with pancakes and Plum sauce is an absolute must!!! The rest of the food is very well done, but that is the true highlight of their menu. Their is ample seating, the tea is delicious and the folks there are always polite and prompt. This was our one and only place for Chinese food in Philly.

This was my go to place when I lived in Yardley, PA. So many amazing dishes, too many to list. However, I remember that one soup was so good that eating it was a "religious experience", hence we called it sacred soup :) This soup had delicate won tons (that were made with shrimp) and also had roast pork. The... More

Went for the second time Friday after the flower show. It was pretty awful. My friends had never had Peking Duck but they were game. We ordered other dishes as well. The duck looked right but it was served room temperature. It had not been rendered properly and it was way to fatty. The skin was not crispy as it... More

Picked up take out here on a friend's recommendation. Everything was very good and the sauces were all a little different from Chinese main fare. I don't know about the dine-in experience, but as far as their food, I recommend. Place was busy with a local crowd, so.. can't be bad.

Busy, friendly, but not outstanding. Get the Peking duck and the flounder with pork dish. Those were worth the trip! Note that even dishes labeled as spicy don't really have heat.

Usually order the same items. Shrimp dumpling noodle soup and half Peking duck. Better Peking duck than I had in Beijing. Friendly staff. Ice cream and fortune cookies are complementary after the meal. Sometimes we get a "special" entree or shrimp dumpling soup without noodles. Bur a great restaurant experience. Join the club for free meals. We eat here twice... More

I'm big into traditional AUTHENTIC Cantonese Foods and I love this little place! The food is always consistent and fresh. Love their soup, shrimp dumplings and house special Cantonese Chow Mein with crispy fried Noodles! The staff could take a lesson in being more curteous and friendly but thats part of being in a restaurant that caters to mostly Asians... More

We ordered the half duck- so juicy yet still had crispy skin. It destroyed Han Dynasty's duck from the night before- no competition. The beef chow fun was also on point and the garlic bok choy made a mild counterpoint for all the hot sauce I wanted to put on it. But seriously, the duck is the star here. Eat... More
