Farm to restaurant. Thats all I need to say!!! The WOW Factor with freshness and quality of the food. You get what you pay for because it was expensive.

I was here for dinner with my daughter and her boyfriend. The service is excellent. They had special vegetarian menus for us. I had the tofu in a spicy sauce and wish I could buy that sauce from them; it's wonderful! We had the hummus trio for an appetizer and it was great. I had a fantastic glass of red... More

This is one of the coolest restaurants and bars you'll find anywhere. It's really worthwhile for at least a drink at the bar. The decorations are fantastic. As for the food, we were disappointed, after eating there twice in one week. Their bread rolls are superb, so enjoy that! First night for dinner: The Hummus Trio appetiser for $15 is... More

A few of us were in town and were planning on going to a nearby tavern but it was too crowded so we ended up at the White Dog. If you are a dog lover you must visit this place. The decor is all dog and even if you don't like dogs you will still enjoy the clean, comfortable atmosphere.... More

Stopped for dinner on a whim. Adorable small street with several restaurants. Parking tough but we lucked out on a wed night. White dog was cozy with several rooms and doggy pictures and accents throughout. The Kennett square mushroom soup is awesome as was the side of mushrooms Augratin. Steak and frites delicious, pork shank very good. The portions are... More

Please don't over order here. Portions are very large, many fit for sharing among two people. A kale salad was the size of an entree; filling a 10-12 inch shallow bowl. An appetizer size portion of pasta was also quite large. So when looking over the menu, be sure to assess your appetite and order accordingly. Your wallet will thank... More

The White Dog Cafe is a great favorite spot and once again, we had a great experience. The menu is varied with fresh, farm to table local food. The service is professional and friendly. Definitely get a reservation, especially around events at Penn or Drexel.

It's been at least 8 years since I've eaten here, but well worth the wait. The server, Mark was a pro. My friend is gluten intolerant and Mark brought warm, gluten free rolls and made note to make sure everything she ordered was ok for her allergy. The meal was delicious, perfect actually. It was worth the trip into the... More

Food is outstanding. Very fresh, mostly farm-to-table. Vegans and vegetarians beware: certain items on the dessert menu are made with ingredients from animals. And I am not certain that other items on the vegetarian menu are made animal-free, as well. Price is too high. I've eatern here several times and the wait staff is mostly fine. Last visit I found...
