We have been to Pat’s and we have been to Gino’s and they are both just okay. We went just because we were in the area and we were disappointed yet again. Cold, soggy cheesesteaks nothing to rave about. I would pick Pat’s over Gino’s...More

Certainly the authentic Philly cheesesteak experience. Skip the coke for $3.50. I’ve lived here a long time; why do I feel kinda like a tourist? Maybe it has something to do with feeling like I just sorta got ripped off (?). Maybe I’m just no...More

Been from South Philly I have to go Pat's. The staff at Pat's is very clean and very kind. My favorite here is a Cheese whiz.

We thought we'd try Pats & Geno's. Pat's > Genos just, but Carmens > both of these. However, I'd still try it as that was my personal taste. Pats seemed to be more tender and tastier out of the two twin shops, more seating here...More

We tried a sandwich from here and one from Gino's. Both were very good Pats edging out Gino's because of softer bread and more tender meat. Still very comparable. It was fun to try each of them. I really enjoyed the pickled peppers. Very good.

I know there is always the argument on where to get the best cheesesteak in Philly is.. Pat's is pretty darn good. It may have been brutally cold but I was so content sitting outside and crushing that cheesesteak WIT whiz dripping from my face....More

If you come to Philly, you must try it. Have your order ready and follow the ordering directions or you’ll get sent to the back of the line. This isn’t to be disrespectful but on busy days they are BUSY! This order or move system...More

But they need better bread. I have been there a hundred times. The steak and toppings are premiere. I just wish the bread had more substance and a better texture. I know it’s a classic but sometimes a little change is a good thing. I’ve...More
