We stumbled upon the Italian market as part of a retro record hunt and were so happy we did! King of cannoli cannoli are a must - the pistachio crusted ones filled with fresh authentic filling are to die for!

We've lived near the city all our lives and try to make it down to "9th Street" at least a few times a year. The old classics bring you back but the newer merchants are also very interesting.
Last week was my first visit, and I can't wait to go back. The streets vendors have the freshest foods for prices much lower than the grocery store--and fresher!!! Claudio's and Talluto's--excellent in every way.
We had only a couple of hours here, but we saw that we could certainly find plenty to eat here either in restaurants or in stores where we bought snacks to take with us. I'd like to return!

W either you want Italian, Greek, Chinese food or crafts, homemade baked good to organic meats this place will have it. In two hours I didn't get to see it all. I'll go back to Phili just to go here.
