I've stopped at this location, as well as the one they have on Girard. The sandwich in my opinion is average to OK, but I love the fact they have crinkle cut fries. The day we stopped in, the whole of the staff were females...I'm not sure if that's always the case, but I found that unique (cooks and waitresses).... More

Great service and very tasty cheesesteak!!! This place is a must! Strongly suggested... But guys, do not exaggerate (I know it is not easy) or you will have to walk an entire week to get rid of the extra calories XD

Diner style booths. Crusty rolls; rib eye beef, pickle bar, bottomless soda. Onions and provolone. Corner Frankfort and Girard in Fishtown.

So happy we dropped in here by accident. This was my FIRST ever Philly cheesesteak sandwich experience and this place did not disappoint. All i can say is, in future I would have my sandwich with extra American cheese. I would gladly return if I ever return to this country.

Hands down, best steaks. It irks me that they changed the name the used for years and years but, the quality remains.

We visited Joe's Steaks + Soda Shop a few hours before we left Philadelphia. I wanted to try at least one more philly steak resturant before I left. I must save, I was not disappointed. The quality and flavor of the cheesesteak's were top notch. There was plenty of seating which isn't the case at most cheesesteak resturants. Make sure... More

My husband and I found this place while searching "Best Cheese Steak in Philly" on Google. This place was great. I ordered fries and a vanilla milkshake and we split a large cheese steak. The fries are definitely frozen from a bag and not made in-house, so I would skip those, but the milkshake was pretty good. It wasn't the... More

As a tourist coming into Philly for the day, we found Joe's. It was very close to the train which was handy, and the food was quite good. Great value for your money and the service was spot in.

For a great cheesesteak and neighborhood feel try Joe's . This place is the real deal . Not the glitz of south phila neon . Just a great steak and service. Bring an appatite and try a hand made milkshake . I bring all my bussiness contacts and out of town friends here.
