Been coming here for over 20 years. Always terrific; great selection of Szechuan food done to the precise amount of heat Y ou ask for. Always attentive service and friendly atmosphere. Seasoned chef knows what he's doing. Highly highly recommend.

We always used to drive into Chinatown for Chinese food in Philly, until I started googling around for something good that was more easily accessible by car and found Chun Hing. You wouldn't expect to find something so good in this unassuming, tucked-away location, but you'd be surprised. From my first visit, it was clear that there are people that... More

I have been coming here for years, most for take-out, but I have dined in-house for lunch and dinner a few times. The funny thing is that you would think it's not good because it is rarely crowded, but don't let that fool you - the food is good and fresh!! You can't go wrong with the classics: dumplings, general... More

And that is a good thing...we love Chun Hing! Old-school Chinese food… Have to say the best panfried dumplings I have ever had they serve it with a vinegar and chili sauce that is to die for! Salt-and-pepper squid, delicious, clams and blackbean sauce, delicious. Atmosphere so-so, and a bit tired but, it's a classic joint, and a solid meal... More

I have been eating at Chun Hing since they 1st opened in a different location. Best Hot & Sour Soup in Philadelphia, excellent fried dumplings. Numerous dishes, mostly good. The restaurant looks tired and the bathrooms are disgusting! Spicy Triple delight, Chicken in Peking Sauce, Green Beans in Garlic Sauce - vegetarian or with shrimp or pork are all very... More

Sounds like Cheers, everyone knows our name. They know what we like and dislike (not much). Been eating here for 30 years, through several address changes. BYOB.

This was a nice Chinese take out option (though they have a dining room). Food was tasty, not greasy, and the full variety we Americans have come to expect from Chinese restaurants in urban areas.

We were staying at a nearby hotel, breaking the journey from Ohio to Atlantic City. I was planning on going into downtown Philly for dinner, but after 500 miles of driving we were both too tired. There were some "chain" restaurants nearby, but after consulting Trip Advisor on my Smart Phone, we decided to try Chun Hing. We were not... More

This place is tucked away in an unimpressive looking strip mall; I would never have stopped if my hubby hadn't found it on Trip Advisor! It is a large attractive space with excellent service and an interesting menu. We got our food "medium hot" and it was delicious. They do wonderful things with squid. I would happily go back again.... More

My family just arrived from Miami for a school trip to Philly amidst a monsoon. We were staying in a nearby hotel and we were starving. We fround Chun Hing by accident as we drove by. We were more than pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Being of Asian descent, I have somewhat high standards for Chinese food.... More
