This higher end Greek restaurant serves up some very good appetizers. We sampled the octopus, grilled shrimp, pikilia spreads and of course, the required Estia Chips. All, were worth ordering except the dips/spreads. Shrimps were large and grilled to perfection. The chips, thin and crispy fried slices of zucchini and eggplant are delicious and go a long way.Salads are also... More

Went into the city to see Dirty Dancing at the Kimmel Center and needed a spot for a quick drink and a nosh before the show. We stumbled on Estia and decided to take a chance. First of all never go there on a Saturday night without a reservation. The place was mobbed. However it was so cozy and full... More

I had the pleasure of recently eating at Estia. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent food and spectacular service. We ate pre-theatre and there pre-theatre menu was perfect. We were out in time for a nice walk down the block to our destination. Highly recommend!

Just opposite the Philharmony, this restaurant enjoys a great atmosphere with its big room with open kitchen - we had dinner in one of the underground private rooms. Dishes (essentially Greek food, sometimes with a western touch) are tasty and portions are sufficient, however there is nothing to wow about. Service is fine. Overall I had the feeling that this... Very friendly and professional service. Very nice ambient but a little too dark...you have to rely on the candle light for any movement. Good wine selection even though the white wines' list has too many Californian wines versus excellent Oregon or Washington State possible alternatives. Sea food very good but the lobster was a little dry. Good desserts. It is... More

A fantastic dining experience, every time. The food is amazing - get the Estia chips - and the service and atmosphere are always excellent. It is also a good venue for parties in their downstairs event area. Also, very good wine selection.

Special occasion + belated Valentine's Day so we definitely spent more than we normally would for "lunch".Appetizers of octopus and grilled sardines followed by lamb chops and fish of the day with briam accompanied by a bottle of Greek red. For dessert we split an Ekmek. Total came to $175 with tip....but was essentially early dinner. Laurel provided great service.... More

We ate here before the opera, The restaurant was crowded, but the food was delicious and our server very attentive. We would happily return at any time!

This restaurant begins with a very good impression of a Greek Taverna with vaulted stone ceilings, plenty of timber, and fishing boat sails hanging to dry. We had reservations and were immediately guided to our table upon arrival. The place was full, apparently with pre-performance guests, but also with a good number of families out for a Sunday dinner. The... More
