My husband and I went to Amada for dinner and it was a great choice. We had the tasting menu along with the wine pairing. It was totally worth the money. The service was great, the food was delicious and the place was busy so you know you picked a good place. Reservations are recommended. Not pictured was a caramel... More

Lunch with a friend. The first clue was the restaurant was almost full at 1 PM. Ordered the chef's selection, which was an amazing variety of dishes (vegetables, fish, meat, salad, cheese and on and on and on) lunch. Every dish was superb, a real compliment to Chef Garces' and his staff's abilities. After the 4'th or 5'th dish, it... More

This is a great Spanish food restaurant, especially that tapa style, where you can share 5 or 6 small dishes. The octopus and the pernil were zauberhaft! Really loved it. If you are in Philly, try it. Now, if you don't like a very very very noisy place, skip it, at least at night. Sounds on, tvs on and people... More

Every minute spent in side was a complete experience. I would suggest reservations but luckily we got seated quickly without them. We sat at the chefs bar which I would highly recommend for 2 to 3 people. The kitchen is open and you can watch everything being prepared. What a show. The food, service and staff were top notch along... More

Stopped in for lunch. Even though it was filled with suit-and-tie types, our family was made welcome. Very good service here. It was lighter fare -- tapas for her, steak and cheese for me. Patatas bravas were pretty good, and the Spanish cheesesteak was pretty well done. Really good sangria. I imagine the dinner service is a step above, but... More

We were in Spain a couple of years ago and had tapas in numerous places. What we had last night was as good as the the tapas we had in San Sebastian? We had so many dishes that it is hard to single out any. The white anchovies, lamb tartare, octobus and all the vegetables were superb. The manchego was... More

Amada offers a very large array of authentic Spanish tapas and dishes. The stuffed peppers, pulpo and meatballs were just a few of the delicious dishes we enjoyed. Everything was so flavorful and beautifully prepared. Service was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

Had the absolute best time here with my daughter. We had the the Chef's Tasting and it took all of the guess work out of it. If we had known what the main course was going to be, we would have left some of the first two courses on the plate...but we couldn't resist. Everything that they brought to our... More
